After numerous requests by our loyal customers we are happy to introduce our new Pumpernickel Sourdough Bread, lovingly made from a blend of bread and pumpernickel flours, with addition of unsulphured molasses. It's robust aroma, deep color and intense flavor will make this bread become your new favorite!
Sourdough is known to be much easier to digest than other breads, as the gluten is partially ‘digested’ during the fermentation process. Pumpernickel sourdough is one of the healthier breads available and loaded with outstanding health benefits. It is an ideal meal option for this who wish to maintain a fit and healthy lifestyle or are searching out for healthier alternates to the regular white bread.
Best eaten within five days of purchase or else well wrapped and frozen. You can thaw your bread by reheating in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes for a half-loaf and 45 minutes for a whole loaf. You can also try to leave it to thaw overnight at room temperature, or warm it up in a microwave (yes - you will be surprised at the result!)
