Cheese Board Collective Nostalgia

I have loved every type of sourdough, and all the other goodies I’ve tried from Fokattia and they’ve all been delicious. This week I was lucky enough to score a loaf of the Cheese Board Nostalgia loaf and it was actually the best bread I’ve ever had in my life! I used to live in Berkeley and frequently shopped at the Cheese Board Collective which is wonderful. This bread was better. It might be all the love that goes into each loaf. Whatever it is, I cannot wait to get another loaf!

I can not truly put into words that moment when I took my first bite of this particular loaf of bread. It was delicious, yes; it was an explosion of flavor, yes; it was comforting and mellowing, yes; it was very nostalgic, yes; but honestly it was just a moment of utter bliss as my brain registered, and delighted in, the complex subtle flavors of this loaf. It is the best bread I have ever had.

This is my friend's absolute favorite bread, so I ordered a loaf to take on our picnic hike to celebrate her birthday! She was thrilled and the bread was enjoyed by all on the hike! Consensus was that it's delicious!
